Leupold Scope VX II 3x9 Review

You will never regret purchasing Leupold rifle scopes. One thing I’ve learned is that it’s better to have your Leupold scopes mounted by a professional. In this way, fewer mistakes will be made. Also remember that not all famed guns are of high quality. Try to mix and match your gun with different scopes until you land on a perfect combination. The time and effort I spent reading reviews about rifle scopes became very beneficial to me. I’m happy to have a competent scope that will surely accompany me and my hunting rifle to our future journeys.
I was very unfortunate to purchase an expensive yet crappy scope for $150. That’s why I decided to give Leupold VX II 3x9 a shot. Contrary to popular belief, one should invest in high quality scopes rather than rifles. A lot of hunters buy fancy guns and install a low quality scope on it. The Leupold VX II Scope has everything you need in one package. The parallax and optics are both admirable. I have another Leupold scope and honestly, it’s hard to differentiate the two because they mostly share the same features. Only, the VX II is $100 cheaper. Although if you are the more adventurous type and prefer hunting in Colorado or Alaska mountains, you should opt for a Zeiss or Swarovski. My Leupold didn’t go well during 250 yards which resulted to a lot of missed targets.

My gun was tried and tested for accuracy so I concluded that there’s something wrong with the scope. Other than the Leupold VXIII scopes, all the hunting scope reviews I have read turned me off. I had a hard time unleashing the true potential of my gun even though I’ve invested a lot of money on it. Luckily, I discovered the new Tikka and I immediately mounted my scope on it. They work together so well and since then my shots became better. I truly regretted the times I criticized Leupold in front of my friends.

I was relieved that the basic complications were solved. However, there are still petty things I would like to be improved. A wider field of view will be very much welcome. I have narrow hunting grounds and the shots I make are commonly at close range. In order to find my possible target, my scope has to be pulled up so I can stride through the trees. So a wider field of view might aid me in locating my target as soon as I’ve aimed the scope in the right direction. Similar to the rest of the Leupold line, the Leupold VX II Scope is built with only the highest quality.
